Which airports does Cool Travel Istanbul serve?

We provide private transfers to and from Istanbul Airport (IST) on the European side and Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) on the Asian side, plus Milas-Bodrum (BJV) and Antalya (AYT). From Istanbul Airport it is roughly 40-50 km, about 45-70 minutes to the city centre depending on traffic. Popular drop-offs include Taksim, Sultanahmet/Old City, Galataport, Beşiktaş and the cruise port.

How do I book an Istanbul airport transfer or tour?

You book directly on our website using the booking form: enter your pickup and drop-off, choose your vehicle, and pay securely online for instant confirmation. For bespoke requests you can also reach our 24/7 team on WhatsApp. Once your booking is confirmed, we track your flight; when you have your luggage, message us on WhatsApp and your driver picks you up at the arrivals exit within 10 minutes.

Are your prices fixed?

Yes. Your fare is calculated live in the booking form from your exact route and chosen vehicle, then fixed at the moment you book. The price includes fuel and taxes, with no surge pricing. Bridge and highway tolls are not included and are paid separately. You can see your live price in the booking form before you pay.

What vehicles do you use?

We operate a luxury fleet of Mercedes-Benz Vito (Maybach Vito) VIP vans and Sprinters. Every vehicle features leather seats, Wi-Fi, climate control and a professional English-speaking driver. Child seats are available on request.

Do you offer private tours as well as airport transfers?

Yes. Alongside airport transfers we run private daily tours across Istanbul and Turkey. Options include the Historical Istanbul Tour of the Old City and private car hire with a driver by the hour, plus day trips to Cappadocia, Bursa & Uludağ and Sapanca & Maşukiye. Every tour is fully private, with your own vehicle and an English- or Arabic-speaking driver of your choice. The sightseeing tours also include an English-speaking guide, while private car hire is with a driver only; a licensed professional tour guide can be arranged for an additional €150.

How does the airport pickup work?

Your driver tracks your flight and waits near the terminal. When you have your luggage, message us on WhatsApp and your driver picks you up at the arrivals exit within 10 minutes. Because we monitor your flight in real time, your pickup adjusts automatically if the flight lands early or is delayed, and your driver waits up to 90 minutes after landing at no extra cost.

How fast can I book and pay?

Booking online takes about two minutes: enter your route or choose a tour, pick the date, time and vehicle, add the passenger details and pay by card. Your booking is confirmed straight away, and a confirmation e-mail with your 6-character booking code arrives right after the payment.

Which languages do your drivers speak?

Every transfer comes with a professional English-speaking driver. On tours you can choose an English- or Arabic-speaking driver when you book, and English is the default. Our drivers are drivers, not tour guides.

Do your tours include a guide?

The sightseeing tours (Bursa, Sapanca, Historical Istanbul, Romantic Istanbul, Shopping and Cappadocia) include an English-speaking guide. Private car hire with a driver by the hour does not include a guide. A licensed professional tour guide can be arranged for an additional €150.

No. Online bookings are paid by card at checkout, processed securely by Stripe, and cash is not accepted. Prices are in euros (EUR) and fixed when you book.

An exceptionnel expérience in Istanbul highly recommended

An Exceptional Experience in Istanbul – Highly Recommended! I had an absolutely wonderful day with Mr. Ali, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! He took us on a fantastic journey across both the European and Asian sides of Istanbul, and even accompanied us on a shopping trip. From beginning to end, everything exceeded my expectations. Mr. Ali is much more than an excellent driver. He is professional, kind, attentive, His vehicle was comfortable, his service was impeccable, and his recommendations were thoughtful and perfectly suited to our needs. What made the experience truly special was the way he brought Istanbul’s history to life through his fascinating stories and explanations. And to make the journey even more memorable, he played Turkish music in the car, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the country’s beautiful culture and atmosphere. It was a wonderful experience that went far beyond a simple sightseeing tour! Mr. Ali has become an indispensable part of my Istanbul journey. Thank you, Mr. Ali, for your kindness, your excellent service, and for making my time in Istanbul so special. You truly made a difference! A well-deserved five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect tour for the whole family!

We booked this tour as a family, and our guide made it a great experience. He was knowledgeable, informative, and on time, even picking us up from our hotel right on schedule. We never felt rushed, and he was patient and supportive throughout. All the places promised were covered, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended for families. We'd happily book again!

No need to shop around - this is who you should hire as a driver!

Ali was fantastic from start to finish! He made sure to stick to the main highlights of the route we'd planned but added a few quick stops along the way that added many amazing views and experiences to our day. His knowledge also saved is time where it counted to make sure we had time for our stops. He was full of knowledge of the city, had a wonderful attitude, clear communication at all times, and a great sense of humor! I will keep him at the top of my list for my next visit to Istanbul.
